However, it stands out with its sloping roofline and redesigned rear section. The new taillights are mounted higher than before and appear connected above the license plate. This setup includes an 11.9-inch digital instrument cluster, a 14.5-inch infotainment display, and an optional 10.9-inch passenger screen. The same platform also underpins <a href=\"https:\/\/www.carscoops.com\/2024\/07\/audi-a5-replaces-the-a4-with-sleeker-looks-and-more-efficient-powertrains\/\">the new Audi A5 Sedan and Avant<\/a>, giving us an idea about the potential powertrain lineup of the Q5.<\/p>\n<p>Judging by the charging port, the prototype likely features a plug-in hybrid setup. It will be accompanied by mildly electrified versions of the 2.0-liter turbocharged gasoline four-cylinder and, for European markets, the 2.0-liter turbo diesel engines, all incorporating Audi&rsquo;s latest 48V MHEV Plus system. The transmission will be a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic, with all-wheel drive likely being standard in the States. <\/p>\n<p>The performance-focused SQ5 is expected to feature the mild-hybrid 3.0-liter V6 TFSI from the S5 with around 360 horsepower, coupled with a sportier body kit and a more responsive chassis.<\/p>\n<p>Audi has officially confirmed that the new generation Q5 will debut this fall. With the Q5 Sportback prototype already looking production-ready, it&rsquo;s likely the sleeker variant will be unveiled around the same time or shortly thereafter.
